For many years, the Golden Bund Award has been devoted of exploring the new design forces in China’s interior design industry.  This year, Shangri-La Qiantan Shanghai Hotel stood out from all other entries and was awarded the Gold Award in the category of the Best Display Art. Thankful for the recognition which will continue to fuel us in the future.

Installation artist Vincent Leroy has recently designed a scarf for Hermes based on his beautiful technical drawings.  Congratulation Vincent!  We will see more of Vincent's work at our Kunming project in 2019.  A 7 meters outdoor sculpture that anchor at one of the busiest road in Kunming and Spring City 66 development.

Debut Studio is delighted to collaborate with KEF, graffiti artist form Germany and Chan Dany from Cambodia on its latest laisee packet.  KEF's work can be seen at Artyzen Habitat Shanghai reception which was opened end of 2018.  Chan Dany's artwork was featured at Rosewood Phnom Penh.  A joyful and colourful Year of the Pig indeed!  

German artist and London based, KEF, was at our Shanghai site last month creating street art at the lobby reception of Artyzen Habitat.

Acclaimed interior design magazine, INTERIOR DESIGN, has awarded merit to Cybil Chiu, Co-founder of Debut Studio as curator for Rosewood Sanya project.  Every year INTERIOR DESIGN magazine has accredited a few outstanding projects in recognising practitioners in the industry.  Debut Studio is delighted to receive this accolade and encouraged to continue to do good works in the industry.

Congratulation to our client Hotel Stage which has recently awarded 2018 Traveller's Choice Award by Tripadvisor.  There is only 10 hotels in China (7 in China, 3 in Hong Kong) which received this accolade.  Well done Hotel Stage!

This year’s Hong Kong Gallery Walk featured special performances including ballet shows on the streets of SOHO, live installation by artists as well as digital art installation at Man Mo Temple. Newly opened galleries in Central and Sheung Wan area highlighted the event with artists from different parts of the world.
